About Us
Both Reggie and Sally are native Oregonians in love with our state. We have had horses for most of our lives. Reggie grew up on a farm and Sally in the suburbs. Reggie had horses on his property and Sally boarded. After raising three kids and becoming grandparents, we decided to live our dream and move out to the country. In 2012, we found our new home on 16 acres in the middle of Willamette Valley fertile farm land. All set up for horses with a four stall barn, an arena and plenty of pasture, we quickly filled our farm with horses, goats, and chickens. We are a three generation family farm, and all of us enjoy a variety of hobbies.
Over the years of boarding horses, we learned what we liked about each facility. We soon began our dream of building a horse boarding facility of our own. French Prairie Acres is purposely designed to care for your horse as if it belonged to us. We strive to provide a safe, pleasant environment for owners to handle and work with their horses.

The essential joy of being with horses, is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit and fire.
